What is Photoshop CC?

Two genius brothers developed a photo editing software for Windows and macOS. They called it Photoshop. After a while, they joined a company called Adobe. They formed Adobe Photoshop, which has been updated 15 times throughout its life. The CC or the Creative Cloud became the new king of the Adobe Photoshop kingdom in June of 2013, after the retirement of his father(CS6). The young king with new features and more advanced tools than his father was more successful in the expansion of the Adobe Photoshop kingdom. The new king permitted his citizens(Adobe User) to share their work on social media, and he also gave better service to them. For example, he provided better 3D tools and camera shake reduction and so many more.

The new king changed the old version of a lifetime subscription to monthly and annually. In another word, no more lifetime subscription. But the people who had already paid for the lifetime subscription could still use old versions of Photoshop. The new payment from the creative cloud for Adobe Photoshop CC is about $10 per month and $120 per year.

More detailed versions of Adobe Photoshop CC

Version 14:

Adobe launched the first version of Photoshop CC, version 14 on 18 June 2013. New features were the reduction of camera shake that causes blur and Warp, plugins that assist the user. The CC also means that Photoshop is only available as part of the Creative Cloud subscription.

Version 15:

The second update or let’s say Version 15 came out one year after the first version of Photoshop CC. With updated content-aware tools, two new blur tools, and a brand new center mask property that gave the customer ability to choose parts of a photo-based on whether they are in focus or not.

Version 16 & 17:

Version 16 and 17 got released in June 2015. This time the new features were, Save For Web and Export As, storage of custom merchandise images called Adobe Stock. The 25th anniversary of Photoshop was also in 2015.

Version 18:

Model 18 of Photoshop CC was announced in November 2016,  with the ability to search for things(Tools, panels, and help articles) and some other small updates.

Version 19:

Version 19 of Photoshop CC was released in October 2017 with new updates in zoom level and algorithm improvements to Face-aware and selection tools, color and luminance range masking, image optimizing, and file opening performance, filters, and brush strokes. There were new features like Select-Object and Copy-paste layer, added 1000 brushes and some more.

Version 20:

Version 20 of Photoshop CC was released on 15 October 2018. This version does not support the 32bit version of windows anymore. There were many features added to this version. For example, auto-commitment and avert casual panel moves with a lock work-space, live blend mode previews, and Color Wheel, some more.

Version 21:

On 4 November 2019, Adobe released Photoshop CC (version 21). This version blew up everyone’s mind with its new incredible features like the enhanced transform warp and new keyboard shortcuts for paint & brush, new object selection tool, and background image removal option, up to date properties panel. Other new features are brightness/contrast and curves, animated GIF aid and swatches, gradients, and figures. There were too many updates like the brand new content-aware fill, enhanced lens blur performance, and single-click zoom to a layer’s contents.

Version 21.1:

Version 21 of the Photoshop CC got updated in February 2020. The updated version is 21.1 that got some upgraded features. For example, better workflow while navigating documents or zooming. Those enhanced features improve the user experience. The older versions of Photoshop could be frustrating sometimes while using the zoom or navigate feature because they are not that much strong as the new version of Photoshop CC 21.1 is.

I had this page saved some time previously but my laptop crashed. I have since gotten a new one and it took me a while to find this! I also really like the template though.
